Privacy & Data
Clear handling of listener interactions, subscriptions, submissions and first-party station analytics.
What the platform collects
FUOYE Radio collects information you deliberately submit through contact forms, listener requests, newsletter subscriptions and Get Involved submissions. The player may also record limited first-party operational events such as play, pause, installation, sharing and playback errors when analytics are enabled.
Why it is used
Submitted information is used to respond to enquiries, moderate audience participation, administer programme or volunteer proposals, operate newsletters, improve station reliability and understand aggregate use of the digital radio service.
What is not intended
The application does not require a public listener account and does not intentionally collect precise location, microphone, camera or advertising-profile data. Administrative access is separately authenticated and audited.
External services
Live audio is delivered through Radio.co. Embedded video may be supplied through configured services such as YouTube or Vimeo. Those services may process network and device information under their own policies when you use their media.
Retention and requests
Station administrators should apply FUOYE’s approved records-retention and privacy policies to submissions, contact records and newsletters. To request correction or deletion of information you supplied, contact the station using the published contact details.
Security
The application uses HTTPS-ready security headers, CSRF protection, prepared database statements, hardened uploads, role-based administration, authentication throttling and audit logging. Production security still depends on correct server configuration, patching, backups and access governance.
